In this post I have attatched an image of an audience profile I created earlier in the week. I have done this so that I can learn more about what my audience will want to see, and it will help me with the creation of my magazine. Some of the things i included such as Audi may seem a little strange, however I want my target audience to still be professional and not the conventional 'hippy who drives a VW'. Audience profile:
As you will see, I have included 6 different images which will appeal to my target audience (as shown in the middle). I chose HMV and Hard Rock Cafe as these would be the places which would sell my merchandise. I also chose Beef Jerky and Gillette Fusion as these would be products I would expect fans of rock music to like. This does not nessassarily mean that they use them but it shows the type of products they MAY use. Foo Fighters is obviously in the rock genre which is why I included them but the Audi logo was included because my magazine appeals to a particular class of people. Future posts will explain this class of people and highlight the features which make it appeal to them.
