Within this post, I will be explaining to you how I created the main image which was used for my contents page. Here is the image:
This image consists of 3 micro images. These images are: the scenery (including the bench), myself and the red guitar. The image of the scenery was taken from Google however the other two images were my own which I took myself. As I wanted the scenery to stand out on the page, I used the colour replacement tool in order to make the sky grey and the grass a more vibrant green. This also connoted the contrast of Heaven and Hell and how Edge was in Limbo. Then I had to put myself on the bench. This was a little trickier as the layering had to be altered however I believe that it went successfully. To do this, I had to duplicate the bench layer so that half of my body was behind it while the other half was in front. I then cut my body in two so that I could accurately line up my legs with the bench. Likewise I used this same method with the guitar which was somewhat easier as the shape was far more simple than my body. After alligning the two, I realised that the image was finished and that the composition looked correct. I then inserted this into my contents page and added all of the nessassary features like titles and page numbers.
