Publication Plan for Music Magazine

Within this post I will talk about and discuss the publication plan for my magazine. In terms of fonts, I want them to be fairly simple so that the reader will find them easy to read however I still want them to be original and unique. After research online and a few anlysises of fonts, I have found that these fonts would be suitable for the contents page and double-page spread in my magazine:

The reason I have chosen these fonts is because of their unique style and clarity. The 3rd one will probably be used for a title on the double-page spread or contents page as the main body would have to be more simple. I think that the first font will be good for my main body and the middle for sub-headings or sub, sub headings. I also need to think about the different articles which will be included within my magazine. Due to the genre being rock, I will need to think of articles which feature iconic people who have made their mark within the rock industry. Dave Grohl for example is good inspiration for my magazine as he is the typical rock star who would be included in my magazine. This is why I have decided to base someone who is a like Dave Grohl and write a short life story about them for the double-page spread. However I do need to attract my target audience while doing this so it is important I include graphology (images, diagrams etc.) so that the text is informative yet interesting. Using my English Language skills, I will create a professional and convincing main article which will be the main USP of my magazine.

Aside from this, I will also need to state articles and pages which will be included in my contents page. Some ideas I have come with already are ones such as Exclusive Interviews, Poster Page, Album Reviews, Comparrison Pages, Teaser for an upcoming artist, Questionaires, Editors Choicer, Reccomendations etc.

I believe that if most (if not all) the previous points I have made are taken into action, then my magazine will be very successful and will furfill my audiences needs and the conventions of a rock magazine. Additionally, I will ask friends and family to review my publication plan and see if they think there should be any changes to the features I include.
